As a Lead Product Owner on the Boundary Applications and Analytics team, you will own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Ferguson's Decision Support Center space - the trusted source for accurate and interactive Enterprise and Operational reporting. This role operates at the intersection of technology and business functions, requiring close partnership with Finance to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that supports the company's "one source of truth" strategy. This role is focused on understanding the needs of internal business customers, deriving business value, offering thought leadership throughout the software delivery lifecycle, and leading technical teams to deliver large-scale projects with speed and quality. You will be a technology partner, relentlessly building and advocating for the customer while simultaneously listening and negotiating with business collaborators across the company. You will help craft a comprehensive backlog and design a thoughtful roadmap for execution of Ferguson's vision, ensuring each report is precise, reliable, and timely. The ideal candidate brings experience leading Data Analytics teams in fast‑paced environments, thrives amid ambiguity, and takes direct accountability for delivering measurable business value.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Help to define your product's vision and strategy. Determine customer needs by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Complete comprehensive, competitive analyses and market validation across multiple customers/products, contributing to deep stakeholder understanding of customers and markets to find adjacencies, and impactful new market opportunities. Manage and communicate a detailed roadmap for your product. Use qualitative and quantitative research to drive business value and roadmap prioritization. Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance business impact. Collaborate closely with the business, Finance and Reporting teams to define, document and prioritize requirements, ensuring business needs are met and exceeded. Communicating clearly to business leaders on changes, how they are affected, and how these changes are aligned with the company's overall goals. Work closely with Project Management to make sure product is on time and scoped properly. Coordinate alignment between delivery teams, customer groups, and leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Monitor and manage overall product health through analytics and customer feedback sessions and provide commentary to leadership on an ongoing basis. Create and maintain a work environment that promotes customer service, collaboration, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass Ferguson's diversity commitment. Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5-7 years of Product Management/Product Owner experience delivering enterprise solutions. Experience with data and analytics platforms (Power BI, Azure, reporting tools). Strong background in product lifecycle ownership (strategy, roadmap, backlog). Experience partnering with Finance and business stakeholders on reporting and data-driven solutions. Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience. $8,470.59 - $14,834.37 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
