About Treebo Treebo LLC is an innovative, fast-growing startup at the forefront of vegetation management technology. We combine advanced GIS, LiDAR, aerial inspection, and augmented reality with data-driven intelligence to help utilities, municipalities, and land managers improve safety, reliability, and efficiency. Our platform is built on cutting-edge spatial insight tools and powered by a network of over 100 certified TRAQ arborists. We are building the future of vegetation inventory and tree risk assessment — and we want you to help lead it. The Role This is not a typical Product Manager position. As our Product Manager - Software Development & GIS Technology , you will take direct ownership of our next-generation GIS and technology platform. You will be the driving force behind product architecture decisions, software development and vendor management that will define Treebo's future. You will work closely with company leadership to shape what we build and how our technology reaches the market. This is a rare, ground-floor opportunity to leave a lasting mark on both a product and a company. What You'll Do Take over the full product lifecycle — from concept and architecture through development, launch, and iteration Lead and manage relationships with external software development vendors and contractors Maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs Translate complex GIS, LiDAR, and spatial data requirements into clear technical specifications Collaborate with leadership to establish long-term technology strategy and company direction Identify technical risks early and drive solutions across engineering, design, and operations Champion a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improveme What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications Proven background in software architecture, design, and development Hands-on programming experience (ability to read, evaluate, and engage with code) GIS experience — either as a developer or power user of GIS platforms and tools Valid U.S. driver's license Authorization to work in the United States Experience at a large technology company (Big Tech background) OR Startup experience with demonstrated comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environme Preferred Qualifications Prior experience managing software vendors or development teams Familiarity with LiDAR, aerial data, remote sensing, or related geospatial technologies Previous transition from a senior engineering or architecture role into product management What We Offer $180,000/ year starting salary Hybrid remote - work from anywhere in the United States with flexible arrangements with up to 5-10% in field travel time maximum A rare opportunity to build a product from its earliest st ages with real ownership and autonomy Direct collaboration with company founders and leadership Clear career trajectory: Product Manager → Senior Program Manager → Director of Technology The ability to shape the culture, processes, and direction of a growing company Medical, dental, vision
