Vice President, Product Strategy Location:
Costa Mesa, CA preferred; open to remote Restoring choice. Giving hope. Expanding access through technology-enabled care. About NET Recovery At NET Recovery, we believe healthcare should restore choice, not take it away. Our company is built on a simple conviction: dignity is a right, not something earned through abstinence, vital signs, or health status. We believe privacy is dignity in practice, that people deserve agency regardless of where they are in life, and that we support choices rather than defining what a good life should look like. Above all, we believe how we care matters because people remember how they were treated long after they remember what they were told. We are building more than a product. We are building a new chapter in healthcare. Our first chapter begins in addiction, but our ambition extends far beyond a single indication. We believe neuromodulation will fundamentally change how neurological and neurobehavioral conditions are treated, and we are assembling the team that will help bring that future to life. The Opportunity You will own a piece of how NET Recovery's technology shows up in people's lives. Working closely with a small cross-functional team of Engineering, Design, Clinical, Commercial, and Regulatory and Quality partners, you will own a defined product area or set of features within our software portfolio. You will define what success looks like, decide which problems matter most, and make the case for what to build, and what to stop building, based on clinical, regulatory, and business context. You will serve as the bridge between the needs of consumers, clinicians, and the business and the engineers and designers who bring solutions to life, carrying work from idea to release to post-market iteration. As NET Recovery grows, our software portfolio will grow with it, and so will the opportunity for this role. AI will be part of how you work every day and how you help the team work better. What You'll Build Define

  • Define success metrics and prioritize problems based on clinical, regulatory, and business context.
  • Synthesize user research, clinical feedback, market analysis, and product analytics to decide what to build, and what to stop building.
  • Develop evidence-backed claims for new products and features, consistent with our intended use and regulatory positioning. Deliver
  • Translate customer, clinical, and business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to build the roadmap, drive progress against milestones, and resolve blockers.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, design inputs, and verification activities, with guidance from Quality and Regulatory.
  • Align product decisions with our quality management system and applicable standards, and support submissions with product documentation.
  • Coordinate dependencies with adjacent teams, surfacing conflicts early and driving them to resolution. Improve
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including release planning, app store submissions, post-market feedback, and iteration.
  • Use AI tools every day to accelerate research, drafting, analysis, and prototyping.
  • Help the team adopt AI tools responsibly.
  • Communicate product strategy, status, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners. How Success Will Be Measured
  • Product Outcomes
  • Consumer and Clinician Experience
  • Quality and Compliance
  • Delivery and Execution
  • Cross-Functional Partnership Who You Are
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on product management responsibility for a software product.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; STEM, health sciences, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated, ongoing use of AI tools in your own workflow (research, drafting, analysis, prototyping, or prompt and context engineering), with concrete examples of how they changed the way you work.
  • Experience writing clear product requirements and working directly with engineers and designers through delivery.
  • Ability to analyze product and usage data and turn it into sound product recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problems and competing priorities. Strongly Preferred
  • Exposure to regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, fintech, aerospace, or similar) and familiarity with design controls, risk management, or quality systems.
  • Experience shipping health tech software, ideally software as a medical device (SaMD) or software used in a clinical setting. Preferred
  • Mobile app experience (iOS and/or Android), including release cycles and platform requirements.
  • Startup experience, or a track record of thriving with limited resources, shifting priorities, and broad ownership.
  • Responsible AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and accuracy and quality review, especially in clinical or safety-relevant settings.
  • Connected consumer devices.
  • Healthcare data standards and privacy requirements, such as HIPAA.
Why You'll Love Working Here If you're looking for a role where you'll inherit a finished roadmap, this probably isn't it.
