Salesforce Product OwnerLocation:

Elkridge, Maryland or Lisle, IL (onsite 4 days/week)Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior-level, hands-on Salesforce Product Owner to lead high-impact initiatives for our organization. This role is ideal for a candidate who can independently drive prioritization decisions, partner with business stakeholders, and embed themselves in the Salesforce platform and end-user experience. You will own outcomes end-to-end and serve as the trusted product voice across business and engineering teams in a dynamic, fully remote environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product backlog, prioritization, and sequencing for Salesforce-based enrollment and lead management solutions.
  • Lead conversations with business stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery approach.
  • Partner with technical leads and delivery leadership to translate business needs into executable work.
  • Go into the product with an end-user view to understand and improve the experience.
  • Guide teams through complex lead, enrollment, and scheduling workflows.
  • Use data, dashboards, and user experience insights to guide prioritization decisions.
  • Ensure consistent delivery across distributed, remote teams.
  • Serve as a dependable senior Product Owner who can support coverage across PODs when needed.
Required QualificationsExperience:
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience with highly customized, B2C Salesforce-based products.
  • Hands-on background with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning Scheduler.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing a structured product backlog.
  • Familiarity with data integrations, APIs, and third-party tools.
  • Marketing or enrollment domain experience is required.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Lightning components and Apex fundamentals.
  • Ability to create and modify Salesforce objects, record types, page layouts, and field types.
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project tracking software.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator).
  • Experience with sales process automation, lead management, opportunity workflows, and reporting.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and application development best practices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
