Full Job Description Description:
ATP North America is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Product Development to lead technical product development projects from concept through production. This position will coordinate projects across Research and Development, Sales, Production, Supply Chain, suppliers, testing laboratories, and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead product development projects, including planning, documentation, progress tracking, and risk management. Coordinate product prototypes, testing, qualification, and production launches. Support the development of adhesive formulations and adhesive tape products. Prepare laboratory samples and perform product and mechanical testing. Maintain project reports, risk analyses, and corrective action plans. Coordinate raw materials and other project requirements with suppliers. Provide technical support to customers and partner companies. Recommend improvements to help projects meet quality, timing, and performance goals. Participate in domestic and international customer visits as needed.
Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. Five to ten years of experience with coatings, paints, varnishes, adhesives, or a related manufacturing industry. Experience managing product development or technical projects. Experience with laboratory testing, manufacturing quality, audits, or quality systems. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate work across departments without direct authority. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to travel approximately 20% to 30%.
