Job Description
DescriptionAmazon Global Logistics (AGL) empowers hundreds of thousands of Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and other business customers with reliable, cross-border freight solutions — moving billions of products via ocean and air freight through the Amazon Fulfillment Network worldwide. We combine the scale of Amazon's global logistics network with real-time shipment visibility and seamless seller integration to deliver dependable, end-to-end supply chain solutions. As Principal Product Manager for New & Emerging Geographies, you will launch new global cross-border origin-to-destination arcs and grow existing ones. You will own the product vision and roadmap with broad cross-organizational influence. This is a strategic, high-visibility, high-impact role at a pivotal moment for AGL — as we grow our product for businesses of all types amidst shifting global policies that are redefining how sellers move inventory at scale. Basic Qualifications
- Use customer insights and metrics to define product vision and the feature backlog
- Work with finance, pricing, and operations to manage the P&L for each geographic arc
- Drive growth performance accountability in business reviews using data analytics
- Work with sales, marketing, business development, and operations on go-to-market strategy
- Influence broad organizational direction through well-formed narratives and high-visibility leadership reviews
- Navigate ambiguity across organizations to drive a unified global strategy A day in the life Your day will be a blend of data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or ownerPreferred Qualifications
- MBA, or Advanced degree
- Experience in transportation or supply chain
- Experience launching products in international markets with different regulatory and operational requirements
- Experience with cross-border trade compliance, customs, or international commerce
- Familiarity with applied AI/ML in product development (demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, or automation)
- Experience with data-driven decision making using SQL and business intelligence tools
