Job Description
Vision Product Innovation Technician Staffmark Group - United States, Wisconsin, Neenah Sep 03, 2026 Name. Same Mission. Staffmark Total Talent Solutions Delivers. We are seeking a Vision Product Innovation Technician to support the identification and delivery of visionary product innovation opportunities for all regions and personal care products (diapers, pads, pants, and beyond). The ideal candidate excels at supporting a diversity of front-end innovation project activities, from consumer understanding, idea generation, visionary prototype creation, to visionary product validation. The incumbent supports sample/material procurement, product fabrication, bench/consumer testing, data analysis, IP/ad claims documentation, competitive benchmarking, and creation of leadership/retailer presentations. Additionally, the candidate is excited to support the creation, development, and delivery of visionary product innovations (including their aesthetics) under accelerated timelines, which will require creative problem-solving and necessitate new ways of working (e.g., prototyping, testing, benefit visualizations, etc.).
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Support procurement and/or creation of samples/materials for visionary innovation projects and roadmaps.
- Support documentation of sample designs (e.g., materials, patterns, drawings, dimensions, construction techniques) and confirm samples are made to specification.
- Manage any bench testing for front-end innovation samples. Specifically, procure samples, confirm samples are made to specification, submit bench testing requests, prepare samples for bench testing, manage testing schedules, and compile sample and testing results (e.g., data, photos) into Excel charts and PowerPoint presentations for the Vision Product Innovation Strategist to finalize with results/conclusions.
Support real consumer use testing by preparing study samples/stimuli using appropriate support (e.g., PPS), obtaining product safety clearance, and summarizing testing results (data, photos, videos) into Excel charts and PowerPoint presentations for the Vision Product Innovation Strategist to finalize with results/conclusions.
Support the documentation of the team's novel and unique disposables/reusables solutions for IP opportunity evaluation.
Support Vision Product and Power Claims team members in their creation of presentations, displays, demonstrations, and videos to communicate visionary innovation potential to senior leaders and/or retailers.
Help manage and store electronic files related to Innovation such that they are easily located and accessed by other Vision Product and Power Claims team members.
Provide work direction and mentoring/coaching to other less experienced Vision Product and Power Claims prototypers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a prototyping or technician role.
Experience in prototyping disposable feminine/adult/baby products.
Experience in Graphic Design - prototype illustrations, 3D computer rendering, image editing.
Experience in sewing / constructing garments.
Experience in prototyping reusable feminine/adult products.
Experience in bench testing disposable feminine / adult/baby products.
Experience in bench testing reusable feminine/adult products.
Mastery of MS Office software, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Mastery of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Proficiency in Photography/Video Capture and Editing.
Ability to learn new software/systems specific to KC.
Experience in applying the scientific method.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Strong ability to solve problems and make recommendations.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong passion for building and maintaining relationships.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to provide work direction to support resources (e.g., labs).
Ability to multitask, manage & deliver several assignments simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in providing work direction, mentoring, and coaching others.
Education Requirements:
