SEO Content Specialist

Shane Smith Law is a well-established personal injury law firm with 20+ attorneys and 100+ team members. We are hiring a SEO Content Specialist to support our firm. No prior legal experience is required. We provide hands-on training, clear performance expectations, and defined processes to support your success.

Positions Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with an hour for lunch

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, schema markup, and overall on‑page SEO performance. Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to identify growth opportunities. Create, edit, and publish SEO‑driven content, including website pages, blog articles, landing pages, and supporting digital assets. Manage and update the company's WordPress site, ensuring proper use of YoastSEO and adherence to SEO best practices. Implement and refine schema markup to enhance search visibility and rich‑result eligibility. Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and preferred SEO tools to analyze site performance and inform strategy. Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement. Ensure all content meets brand, quality, and compliance standards. Develop monthly performance reports outlining progress toward lead‑generation and organic‑growth goals. Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Prior experience in an office or administrative setting Experience working with deadlines, checklists, or performance metrics If chosen to join our team, you will be responsible for: Serve as the primary specialist responsible for developing and executing the company's SEO strategy. Manage on‑site SEO, technical SEO, content development, and optimization efforts across the company website. Produce high‑quality written content that aligns with SEO goals and business objectives. Monitor, track, and report SEO performance metrics to leadership. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across digital initiatives.
