Freelance Web & SEO Specialist SalesLab360 | Hybrid — Greater Los Angeles Area Independent Contractor | $19.00 per Hour | Approximately 5-15 Hours Per Week Location Requirement Applicants must currently reside within the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area (Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, or San Bernardino counties). The work will generally be performed remotely; however, periodic in-person meetings with the SalesLab360 team and clients may be required. About SalesLab360 SalesLab360 is a marketing and business growth firm specializing in the luxury architecture, interior design, construction, home furnishings, and building products industries. We help our clients strengthen their digital presence through website development, SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, lead generation, video, and digital strategy. As our client roster continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable Freelance Web & SEO Specialist to provide ongoing support across multiple client accounts. About the Opportunity This is a hands-on independent-contractor opportunity for someone with experience in WordPress, Shopify, website management, e-commerce product data, and SEO. The position pays $19.00 per hour . Projects will vary based on client needs and may average approximately 5 to 15 hours per week . This is not a guaranteed number of hours. The contractor will generally determine their own working schedule while meeting agreed-upon project deadlines and participating in periodic project coordination calls. The right person can receive a project brief or task list, understand the objective, organize the necessary information, identify what may be missing, and complete the work accurately and efficiently. Website Development and Management Build and format new pages in WordPress and Shopify Update and improve existing website pages Upload and format products, collections, blogs, images, and other content Add and update internal links, buttons, calls to action, forms, and navigation Optimize website pages for desktop and mobile Resize, compress, rename, and optimize website images Perform website quality assurance Identify broken links, formatting issues, missing information, and other website problems Assist with website launches, redesigns, migrations, and ongoing improvements Complete routine updates across multiple client websites Product Data Organization and Website Uploads Gather and organize product information from multiple sources Organize product names, descriptions, SKUs, pricing, specifications, categories, and images Prepare, clean, and format spreadsheets and CSV files for website imports Match product information with the correct images and supporting documents Identify missing, inconsistent, or duplicate information before uploading Organize products into appropriate website collections and categories Review uploaded information for accuracy and consistency Maintain organized digital files and product records SEO and Local Search Implement on-page SEO across client websites Conduct basic keyword research Optimize page titles and meta descriptions Review and improve H1, H2, and heading structures Optimize URLs, image file names, and alt text Build and improve internal linking Optimize existing website pages, products, and blog content Assist with technical SEO reviews and implementation Monitor website SEO health and address identified issues Support Google Search Console and Google Analytics Assist with tracking keyword rankings, traffic, and SEO performance Manage and update Google Business Profiles Publish Google Business Profile posts Update business information, services, descriptions, and photos Support local SEO initiatives Preferred Experience Approximately 2 or more years of hands-on WordPress experience and 2 or more years of hands-on SEO experience are preferred. Experience with some or all of the following is also preferred: WordPress Shopify E-commerce product uploads and organization Excel, Google Sheets, and CSV files On-page SEO Local SEO Google Business Profile Google Search Console Google Analytics Keyword research Semrush or similar SEO tools Basic HTML and CSS Canva or basic image editing Website image optimization Shopify experience is preferred but is not required for an otherwise strong candidate with relevant website and SEO experience. The Ideal Contractor You may be a good fit if you: Have hands-on experience managing and updating websites Have a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals Are highly organized and attentive to detail Can work independently and manage your own schedule Can take a project from initial organization through final completion Are comfortable working across multiple client accounts Communicate clearly and respond promptly Consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines Know how to identify missing information and ask the right questions Operate an independent freelance business and provide your own equipment and tools Are comfortable signing an independent-contractor agreement and submitting invoices Experience in architecture, interior design, construction, home furnishings, building products, or another visually driven industry is a plus but is not required.
