Position Overview The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns for a high-volume portfolio of franchise and single-unit clients. This role focuses on implementing proven strategies, ensuring accurate campaign builds, and maintaining consistent performance across Google Ads and Meta Ads. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts efficiently within a fast-paced agency environment. Primary Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization (70%) The Paid Media Specialist builds, launches, and manages paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads according to established agency best practices and SOPs. They execute routine optimizations, including keyword expansion, negative keyword management, bid adjustments, and ad copy testing. Monitoring daily performance and budget pacing across a high volume of assigned accounts is critical to ensure targets are met. They troubleshoot basic underperforming campaigns and implement corrective actions based on data analysis. Furthermore, they strictly adhere to compliance guidelines, ensuring all ad copy and creative materials are sourced directly from the client's official website. Reporting & Analysis (20%) This role involves generating accurate and timely performance reports for assigned clients using internal tools. The specialist analyzes campaign data to identify basic trends and provide actionable insights for performance improvement. They also ensure conversion tracking and pixels are functioning correctly, escalating complex technical issues to senior team members or the Analytics team. Continuous Learning & Development (10%) The specialist actively participates in 1:1 meetings, team training, and mentorship sessions to develop technical skills and strategic knowledge. They maintain up-to-date certifications for Google Ads and Meta Ads and stay informed on platform updates, industry trends, and new features. Required Qualifications Experience Candidates should have 1-3 years of hands-on paid media management experience, preferably in an agency environment. Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously is required.. Technical Expertise A solid foundational knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display) and Meta Ads Manager is essential. Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and basic conversion tracking principles is required. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for basic data manipulation and reporting is also necessary. Core Competencies The role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding budget management and ad copy accuracy, is crucial. An eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve technical skills is expected, along with clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with franchise or multi-location clients is preferred. Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools is also a plus. Working Relationships The Paid Media Specialist reports to the Manager of Paid Media for daily work assignments, skill development, and performance monitoring. They are mentored by Sr. Paid Media Specialists for technical guidance and campaign strategy. They collaborate with Brand Success Managers, providing campaign updates and data for client communication.
