Salary dependent on professional and teaching experience $36.43/hr.
  • $63.
14/hr. plus 25% preparation time (minimum hourly rate)

LOCATION:
Estancia High School, Newport-Mesa Unified School District HOURS:
Periods 1-7 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM Wednesday
  • 9:05 AM to 2:55 PM __________________________________________________________________________________________
THE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Administrator of Educational Services, instruct high school students on the skills and knowledge required for demonstrating mastery of competencies for designated courses.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Instruct high school students in a classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including grades, progress reports, and attendance.
  • Assist in curriculum development and revision.
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with the approved course outline.
  • Participate in annual advisory committee meetings, staff meetings, and professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three years of work experience in the field
  • At least one year of the required work experience must be within the last two years
  • Possess or be eligible to apply for a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential.

Teaching Credential:
The successful candidate must qualify for or possess a valid Three-Year Preliminary or Five-Year Clear Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential, including English Second Language Certification. Coastline ROP will assist you in starting the credentialing process.
