Job Description

High School Student Interns - Social Media & Communications Seeking students specifically from Ventura High School and Pacific High School. VUSD is excited to offer high school students the opportunity to collaborate with staff in supporting districtwide communications through social media content development. These positions provide hands-on experience in digital media, content creation, and digital communications. We are seeking one to two student interns at each comprehensive high school who are interested in: Capturing school activities, programs, and student life through photos and short-form video Developing engaging, student-centered content for official VUSD social media platforms, including Instagram Highlighting positive stories, achievements, and day-to-day experiences across campus Collaborating with site and district staff to ensure content aligns with district messaging and guidelines Interns will gain practical experience in content creation and responsible social media use, while contributing to how VUSD shares its story with our community.
Work Hours:
5 to 20 hours per week, depending on student availability and site needs.
