Here's how you can help — we are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our team, rise to the challenge of empowering service, and fill a vital role in our Marketing Division. As a Social Media Specialist, you'll support the execution and day-to-day operations of Lions International's global social media program by creating engaging content, managing publishing and community engagement, and executing integrated social media campaigns. You'll collaborate with the Social Media Team Lead to bring social-first strategies to life through creative storytelling and audience engagement. You'll also demonstrates strong storytelling instincts by identifying meaningful stories and translating them into engaging content across multiple social media platforms and formats. The Specialist will also maintain organized content workflows, digital assets, and publishing operations while staying current on emerging social media trends and identifying opportunities to enhance content performance.
What You'll Do:
+ Executes day-to-day social media publishing across all organizational platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging content delivery. + Creates compelling social media content, including copywriting, photography, short-form video, graphics, and platform-specific creative assets that support organizational priorities. + Captures photo and video content at organizational events and develops social-first content from concept through final published asset. + Collaborates with the Social Media Manager to execute integrated social media campaigns, programs, and initiatives. + Monitors social media communities by engaging with audiences, responding to comments and messages, and escalating issues as appropriate. + Maintains social media operations, including publishing schedules, content calendars, digital asset management, content libraries, and workflow documentation.
