Job Description

Position Summary Countryside Baptist Church is seeking a dependable, organized, and ministry-minded Office Assistant & Digital Media Coordinator to support church operations, communications, and pastoral ministry. This part-time position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a heart for serving others in a church environment. Responsibilities Prepare weekly bulletins, announcements, worship slides, and monthly newsletters Manage church communications through email, website, and other digital platforms Maintain member, visitor, and church records with accuracy and confidentiality Coordinate the church calendar, facility reservations, and office operations Communicate prayer requests and congregational care updates Provide administrative support for church events and ministry leaders Assist with implementing improved digital systems and communication processes Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education or administrative training preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and basic database systems Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently What We're Looking For The ideal candidate demonstrates Christian character, takes initiative, communicates effectively, and enjoys helping a church operate efficiently while caring for its congregation. Schedule & Compensation Part-Time - Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
