SAVE Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities:
Assist the SAVE Task Force in social media outreach and marketing of prevention/education programs. Aid in developing, implementing and promoting prevention programs, awareness campaigns, and survivor support initiatives. Work collaboratively with the SAVE task force members and Title IX office. Participate in SAVE meetings and programming as schedule allows.
Requirements:
Comfort with content area and sensitive topics of sexual and intimate partner violence is necessary. Experience in fields related to content (e.g. Sociology, Psychology, Urban Studies, Public Health, Women's' Gender Sexuality Studies Concentration, Marketing/Communication preferred). Experience in social media marketing and content creation. Flexibility in schedule to attend and promote education and prevention programs. Comfort in engaging peers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of students, faculty, and community members. Experience working in advocacy, peer education, or community outreach is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
