Job Description
Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a motivated and mission-driven brand builder to fill the full-time Marketing and Social Media Specialist position at the Administration building, located at 4095 E. Court St., Burton, MI 48509. Salary position at $55,000 annually Job Duties Generate, edit, publish, schedule and share content that aligns with Goodwill's values and overall marketing strategy Review scheduled content for accuracy, brand consistency and proper formatting before publishing. Create and edit video footage to produce engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. Design graphics and promotional materials for social media. Track key performance indicators such as follower growth, conversion metrics, and engagement rates. Ensure content aligns with upcoming promotions, holidays, events and marketing initiatives. Respond to social media messages in a professional manner Build effective target audiences to drive engagement, donations, mission and brand awareness Provide monthly performance reports that include clicks, views, conversions, subscribers, etc Oversee the daily and monthly planning, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms. Strong graphic design skills (Adobe, Canva or equivalent) Knowledge of social media accounts on various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Impeccable attention to detail Strong organizational skills Willingness and ability to travel. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
