Job Description

The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for a creative, energetic, and motivated intern to join our team during the 2026 - 2027 season. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors at all levels (both internally and externally) and take pride in all work completed. The individual needs to be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines. Individual must also have the ability to work independently, take initiative, provide solutions, and make informed decisions. Essential Duties Capture concourse content, player warmup and VIP bench content, fan engagement, fan/player engagement, theme nights, special requests from sponsorship, etc. Support Manager of Social Media during game, sort through live game photos and video content, help showcase the energy in the arena and highlight players accomplishments Collaborate with Graphic Designer and Videographer on content strategy to be displayed on social media, pre-game and post-game emails, website, and team mobile app Participate in media day, community events, Street Team events, coaches shows, off-ice practices, other events as scheduled Other roles and responsibilities may be required Qualifications Current college student (undergraduate or graduate). Must be able to receive course credit.
