Job Description
Job Summary We are an established law firm seeking a part-time Social Media Strategist to lead content planning, strengthen our online presence, and support marketing initiatives across multiple brands and practice areas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in social media marketing who understands how to turn business objectives into organized, engaging, and consistent content. The right candidate will be comfortable developing content calendars, creating and scheduling posts, identifying content opportunities, and collaborating with attorneys and team members to bring ideas to life. This is more than a basic posting role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, understand the audience, and help develop content that builds credibility, increases engagement, and supports business development. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars Create platform-specific content strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels Write social media captions and assist with messaging, campaign concepts, and content themes Plan educational, promotional, thought-leadership, and brand-awareness content Schedule, publish, and monitor social media posts Create professional graphics using Canva Coordinate short-form video content, including interview topics, talking points, and content ideas Identify opportunities to repurpose videos, articles, webinars, newsletters, and firm updates into social content Research industry trends, competitors, audience interests, and relevant news Track engagement and performance to determine which topics and formats are most effective Help maintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across platforms Support email marketing, website content, landing pages, and digital campaigns as needed Organize and maintain marketing assets, including photos, videos, graphics, and documents Collaborate with the marketing team, attorneys, and leadership on campaign execution Qualifications Strong background in social media marketing and content planning Experience creating and managing social media content calendars Understanding of how content should be adapted for different platforms Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop engaging content from technical or professional subject matter Experience using Canva Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a larger team Ability to take direction, contribute ideas, and execute efficiently Preferred Skills The following skills are valuable but not required: Experience marketing a law firm, professional-services company, automotive business, or B2B organization Experience with LinkedIn content and executive thought leadership Familiarity with WordPress or Webflow Experience using social media scheduling and reporting platforms Familiarity with CRM and email-marketing tools such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Mailchimp Basic knowledge of Meta, Google, or LinkedIn advertising Video editing experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software Basic photography or video-production experience Understanding of SEO, email marketing, landing pages, and lead-generation funnels What You'll Gain Hands-on experience developing social media strategies for established professional brands Exposure to high-level marketing, business-development, and content initiatives Opportunities to work with attorneys, executives, and industry professionals Experience across social media, email, video, web, and digital campaigns The opportunity to grow into a larger marketing role over time
