The Social Media Marketing On-Call Assistant is responsible for supporting Southern Oregon Orthopedics' online presence through engaging social media content, community interaction, and marketing initiatives. This position assists with promoting the organization's providers, services, community involvement, and employment opportunities while maintaining a professional and consistent brand image. This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling based on organizational marketing needs and special events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms as needed. Capture and edit photos and short-form videos for social media campaigns, provider highlights, employee spotlights, and community events. Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns that promote services, providers, recruiting efforts, and community outreach. Monitor social media accounts by responding to comments and messages or escalating inquiries when appropriate. Maintain Southern Oregon Orthopedics' brand standards across all digital content. Assist in creating marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, newsletters, and promotional pieces using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design software. Track social media engagement and provide basic performance reports and recommendations. Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and healthcare marketing best practices. Support marketing initiatives during special events, health fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach activities. Collaborate with leadership and staff to gather content ideas and ensure accurate, timely communication. Perform additional marketing or administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required. Experience with social media management, digital marketing, photography, graphic design, or communications preferred. Strong written communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms are highly desirable.
