Job Description

Are you looking for a job where you can grow communication skills, create content, and connect with IUP alumni and donors? This is the job for you! This position supports the Office of Annual Giving by assisting with day-to-day operations, donor stewardship efforts, and video creation projects. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a student interested in philanthropy, communication, and content creation to gain real-world experience while helping IUP recognize and thank our valued supporters. As an Annual Giving Media Creator, you will serve as an ambassador of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, sending video communications via ThankView to alumni, parents, and friends of IUP to thank them for their support and continue building a lasting connection. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain positivity and professionalism in various situations, the ability to multitask and think strategically in a fast-paced environment and a genuine interest in
IUP. REQUIRED

REQUIRED PREFERRED
: Experience with video editing or content creation is a plus, but not required Candidates who have communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members. Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well during the interview(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general office duties including: Filing documents and organizing records Answering phone calls and taking messages Running errands on campus as needed Assist with donor stewardship communications by recording personalized videos using our video platform and messaging guidelines Collaborate with Annual Giving staff to support campaigns, events, and student giving efforts as needed. •If selected for an interview, the Annual Giving Coordinator will reach out within 2 weeks of receiving your application to schedule an interview.
