Shaddow & Fish -- Las Olas | Fort Lauderdale, FL Shaddow & Fish is looking for a Freelance Social Media Coordinator to help bring our brand to life across Instagram and TikTok at our new Las Olas location. We are looking for someone who understands social media. We are looking to build an audience by creating a feeling, a lifestyle, and a sense of community that makes people want to shop our experience. Our aesthetic is elevated, coastal, and effortless, bringing the energy of Las Olas and South Florida throughout. We want our customers to see our content and think "I want to go see what they have," "I see myself shopping there," and of course, "I just found you on instagram!" This is a freelance, project-based creative position rather than an hourly role. We are looking for someone with proven experience who will build a monthly package with us that makes sense for both the creator and the brand. What You'll Do Create and develop engaging Instagram and TikTok content for Shaddow & Fish Visit the Las Olas store weekly to capture original photo and video content Produce approximately 5-7 weekly pieces of content between Reels and/or Static posts. Capture a mix of content, including but not limited to: Products and new-arrivals, In-store experiences and upcoming events, Employee/Team content, Creative, trend-aware short-form videos Edit photos and videos into polished, social-ready content Write or assist with captions, hashtags, keywords, and other Social SEO Maintain a consistent visual identity and voice across both platforms and content Create content that feels authentic, aspirational, current, and distinctively Shaddow & Fish We're Looking For Someone Who Has a proven portfolio of previous social media work Can provide links to social media accounts you currently service Has a strong eye for design, photography, composition, lighting, and editing short-form videos Understands what performs well on IG and TikTok without sacrificing brand identity for trends Understands the South Florida/Fort Lauderdale market and culture Has a strong understanding of fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, retail, or visually driven brands Is comfortable independently filming content in a retail environment, as well as working with Employees/Team Members to help direct content Brings their own equipment and editing capabilities Is creative, self-directed, reliable, and comfortable pitching ideas Is genuiniely excited about the Shaddow & Fish brand and understands our aesthetic Compensation This is a freelance, project-based opportunity with flexible monthly compensation. We are open to discussing a monthly content package based on your proposed deliverables, experience, and rate.
