Job Overview Wildlife rehab nonprofit in Kerrville, TX seeks part time Social Media Assistant to join our team! If animals, social media, and photography are your passion, this is the opportunity for you. Enjoy a flexible hybrid work setting 1-2 days a week at our rescue in the beautiful hill country, and complete other tasks at home on your own schedule. $400 monthly contract with room to grow based on performance. You will work closely with our Director of Development to learn our social media platforms, and help execute social media content planning and posting. Comfortable around various animal species is a must. Photography experience is highly preferred. You will be expected to work near or occasionally hands-on with wildlife, domestic, and exotic animals. Animal handling experience a plus. Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Patreon, and TikTok is required. 3 month internship commitment minimum with contract opportunities. We offer flexible scheduling! Hybrid setting. Must be able to come in person to the rescue at least 1-2 times weekly. Some work can be done remotely. A phone and laptop with webcam is required for occasional zoom meetings when working remotely. This is a great opportunity that can work around your schedule while you build professional experience.
