Job Description

Osprey Initiative is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team on a part-time basis, working approximately 15-20 hours per week. This is a paid position at $15 per hour. Who Are We? Osprey Initiative is an environmental solutions company based in Alabama and expanding across the country. Our growing team of dedicated problem-solvers works to exceed our clients' needs through creative solutions for aquatic litter, waste diversion, and event sustainability. Our work has taken us to more than 30 states and four countries, supporting major events and initiatives including the Super Bowl, Mardi Gras, NASCAR races, and the NCAA Final Four. Responsibilities:
Develop creative content ideas that align with our brand and mission Assist with planning, organizing, and scheduling social media posts Create short-form video content, including Reels Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for new content Assist with increasing engagement and growing our online presence Capture photos and videos in a variety of settings, including outdoor environments, community events, and large events
Qualifications:
Prior experience with creating social media posts and Reels Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Creative with a strong eye for visual content and storytelling Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including outdoors, in the field, and at large events Strong communication and organizational skills Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Demonstrates strong ethics and understands the importance of accurately and professionally representing our brand Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar content-creation tools is a plus If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to Ellie Mallon at ellie.mallon@osprey.world.
