Job Description
Job Description A company in San Diego is seeking a Contract Agent to join its Procurement team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the sourcing, contracting, and vendor management process for a variety of business units across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive procurement initiatives from inception through contract execution. Key responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and purchasing requirements, developing and managing Requests for Proposal (RFPs), evaluating vendor responses, and supporting vendor selection activities. The Contract Agent will also lead or assist with contract negotiations, review and redline contractual terms, coordinate with legal and business teams, and help ensure agreements align with company policies and objectives.
