Job Description
Job Overview Frank's Card Shop is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sports Card Expert to join our growing team. This role involves leveraging your expertise in sports cards, including Football, Baseball, Basketball, and more, to buy, sell, and trade cards at our retail location in Washington Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the sports card industry and be adept at using CardLadder, eBay, Alt, etc. to conduct thorough research and analysis. Your contributions will help guide our buying and selling in the shop and through various online platforms. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research on trading card values, market trends, and emerging opportunities. Be able to buy and sell cards with little to no oversight Possess strong attention-to-detail when it comes to sourcing, tracking, and processing cards Provide excellent customer service to all customers who come into the card shop Collaborate with team members to develop new ideas for the card shop Stay updated on industry developments, including changes in the trading card market and relevant products. Skills Strong sports card market knowledge Proficient in trading-card related softwares like CardLadder, Alt, 130point, and/or Mascot a plus Background in fast-paced retail environment Friendly personality and strong customer service skills Excellent research skills, capable of synthesizing information from various sources. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage transactions in the trading card market.
