May 14, 2026 : We are seeking skilled Stationary Engineers to join our team in Edgewood, MD, a vibrant community known for its rich history and proximity to beautiful natural landscapes. This role involves collaboration within a team on rotating shift schedules as necessary. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts to oversee various aspects of system operation. Adjust controls as needed to ensure safe and efficient system operation and meet service demands. Record system parameters on log sheets and ensure proper equipment operation. Maintain machinery and equipment within the system in good working order. Potentially supervise and coordinate activities of other workers (excluding stationary engineers) involved in tasks directly related to system operation and maintenance. Maintain a Daily Operations Log and perform routine maintenance according to applicable O&M Manuals for the boilers used at Edgewood and APG. Other on-site duties may be assigned. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in centrifugal chiller operations and central utility plant operations Experience standing watch in the Chill Water Plant is required HVAC technician experience is preferred May involve rotating shifts License & Certifications OSHA 10 training is advantageous A valid Maryland Class 1 stationary engineer's license is required.
