As a Mason Laborer, you will support skilled masons by preparing materials, handling tools, and assisting with various construction tasks to ensure efficient project progress. Duties Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing to ensure precise and sturdy structures Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, mixing concrete, and organizing materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support masonry tasks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications Support with plastering, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry for aesthetic finishes Help with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or mini-excavators when necessary Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and site regulations Skills Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of masonry practices Skilled in concrete finishing, tile laying, roofing, and restoration techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate task execution Ability to operate hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) safely Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, and welding basics Experience with heavy equipment operation and masonry-specific tasks such as form building or stucco application Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt quickly on-site This role requires a proactive attitude and a commitment to safety while delivering quality craftsmanship.
