Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to each patient's requirements. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure patient safety. Implement pain management strategies through effective massage therapy practices. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and progress made by patients. Deliver outstanding customer service to create a welcoming environment for all clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings or med spa environments to provide comprehensive care. Stay updated on the latest techniques and industry standards to continuously improve skills and service quality. Qualifications Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in patient service and assessment is preferred. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive client experiences. Previous experience in an occupational health or med spa setting is a plus but not mandatory.
