Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans based on patient physiology, medical history, and specific pain management requirements. Maintain clear communication with clients about their progress, treatment options, and post-session care instructions. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols. Keep detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay informed about the latest advancements in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and spa therapies to continually enhance your skills. Qualifications Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and customer care. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for massage therapy practice. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide compassionate care.
