Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history and current conditions. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Educate clients on pain management techniques, occupational health practices, and self-care strategies to enhance long-term wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and patient progress reports. Deliver exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening actively, and customizing treatments accordingly. Follow all safety protocols, hygiene standards, and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment for clients and staff. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa, day spa to or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients. Familiarity with pain management techniques and holistic approaches to wellness. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with industry best practices.
