Job Description
Massage Therapist (Licensed) University Place Massage University Place, WA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $30 - $50 an hour Benefits Continuing education credits 401(k) Paid time off Free massages Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Paid sick time Qualifications Massage therapy Massage Therapy License Deep tissue massage Licensed Massage Therapist Full Job Description This is not your average massage job opportunity. The office is run by a massage therapist who understands what you need to thrive. I'm making decisions on how to run my office the way I wanted to be treated when I was working for someone else. Most employers neglect to put themselves in their employees' shoes. I have been there and will always put you first. I'm looking to have 1 therapist join my team. I'm hoping to have someone start immediately, but even if you're getting ready to take your boards. I'd be happy to at least do the interview. This is an employed position, not contracted. I built the practice with dominantly deep tissue, injury treatment, and pain management, with occasional relaxation as well. The office has nearly 5-star reviews across the board. I'm looking for a therapist to help maintain providing massage at a higher standard. We have an amazing team of LMTs and can't wait to welcome a new face to bring in fresh ideas and skills. I'm striving to create a positive work environment where my employees enjoy coming to work. A place where they can grow and develop their skills. I treat therapists more like contractors, where you can take days off if you don't have anyone on your schedule or just want to take time off. There is a lot more freedom here than at your typical chiropractic office or chain. You will always be seen as a person first and foremost . The treatment rooms are large, and supplies, equipment, scheduling, laundry, and billing are all provided. Time and a half pay for auto injuries and L&I massages. You get a free massage every month, a week of vacation pay per year after the first year, 401K benefits, sick leave accrues right away, and free continuing education. The pay listed does not include the fictional tips that many of the other job posts include. That is actual pay. No pressure to upsell or earn commission. The office is located in University Place. Pay will be discussed at the interview, which includes a hands-on portion that is paid for if you are hired. I'm open to newly licensed therapists. I'm mostly looking for 12:45 pm to 7 pm Tuesday-Friday and 9 am-2 pm on Saturdays, but I'm somewhat flexible with hours and willing to work with your schedule. You can work as few or as many hours as you're up for. There just needs to be a set schedule. I'm hoping to find someone willing to ramp up in hours as we build your clientele. Preferably, if you have any existing clientele, you can bring them with you to get you going. If you are interested in the job, send your resume and answer the questions. If I think it's a good fit, I'll contact you for an interview. License and insurance are required to start. Also, check us out at UniversityPlaceMassage.com to learn more about the business itself. You can contact me directly there as well. Looking forward to meeting you!
