Master Electrician

Job Overview:

Innovative Skilled Trades (IST) is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Master Electrician. As a key member of our company, you will be immersed in a culture that prioritizes safety, excellence, and client satisfaction. Since our establishment in 2016, we have been committed to providing top-notch service in maintenance and steel fabrication, ensuring that every task is completed efficiently and effectively. Since 2024, we have added an Electrical Division that we are looking to grow and expand to complement our Mechanical Division.

Duties:

• Work over and with the guidance of experienced electricians to learn and perform various electrical tasks.
• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
• Use a variety of tools including ohmmeters, hand tools, power tools, and high voltage equipment.
• Learn and interpret technical plans and adhere to safety guidelines while working on electrical projects.
• Support other IST electrician staff in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience in frame carpentry, industrial electrician practices, and NEC regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects while upholding quality standards.

Skills:

• Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
• Understanding of power tools and their applications in electrical installations.
• Ability to work effectively with industrial electricians in various project settings.
• Knowledge of NEC codes and regulations governing electrical work.
• Experience or willingness to learn about commercial and industrial electrical systems.
