Material Coordinator

$40HR MAX Materials Coordinator /

Warehouse Associate Location:

On-site (Warehouse Environment)

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours/week + overtime as needed)

Schedule & Work Hours:

Rotating schedule:

• 4x10s (Monday-Thursday)
• 5x8s (Monday-Friday)
• Schedule provided at least one week in advance
• Overtime available during peak periods, plant upsets, or unplanned events

Position Overview:

This role supports daily warehouse and materials management operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. The position is hands-on and team-oriented, combining inventory handling, order fulfillment, and system-based tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick materials from inventory and stage orders for operations
• Unload inbound shipments (motor freight, parcel carriers, expedited deliveries) using forklifts
• Open, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy
• Perform inventory counts and item verification (typical package weight ~25 lbs)
• Complete transactions in SAP or warehouse mobility systems (e.g., goods receipts)
• Handle a high volume of materials (200-300 packages per day depending on workload)
• Work across multiple warehouse areas based on daily assignments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications:

• Basic computer proficiency required:
• Ability to navigate operating systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to pass a basic computer skills demonstration (email, Excel basics)
• Forklift experience preferred (training and certification provided)
• Ability to lift and move ~25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
• Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and inventory tracking

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• TWIC card required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed

Training Provided:

• SAP / system training
• Forklift certification
• On-the-job training and daily direction from warehouse leadership

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Primarily indoor, climate-controlled warehouse
• Some work may occur in an outdoor yard area
• Frequent walking, lifting, and handling of materials
• Use of forklifts and material-handling equipment throughout shift

PPE Requirements:

• Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided) #
