What they do

A Military Specialist operates and maintains vehicles and mechanical equipment pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. May monitor communication, detection, or weapons systems during operations. Interprets and evaluates tactical situations, making recommendations to supervisors. May operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems whether during combat or peacetime. In addition to their combat training, they have also specialized training in swimming, diving, parachuting, survival, emergency medicine, and foreign languages. Duties include conducting advanced reconnaissance operations and collecting intelligence information; recruiting, training, and equipping friendly forces; conducting raids and invasions on enemy territories; laying and detonating explosives for demolition targets; locating, identifying, defusing, and disposing of ordnance; and operating and maintaining sophisticated communications equipment.

FRC DET MIDLANT PAX RIVER MD MPN.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will maintain official command files and checks files for proper disposition, communicate orally, relay information to military and management. You will coordinate, interpret and apply regulations and procedures pertaining to military personnel. You will apply regulations and procedures applicable to military personnel to independently initiate and/or complete personnel actions which affect pay, advancement, and retention of personnel.
