Job Description

Test Center Administrator

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Test Center Administrator to support daily testing operations at a detail oriented testing center in Warwick, Rhode Island. This position is responsible for creating a secure, comfortable, and detail oriented testing environment while ensuring all candidates follow established testing policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with the public, following detailed security protocols, monitoring testing sessions, documenting incidents, and addressing candidate concerns with professionalism and urgency. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity that will begin part-time with the potential to transition to permanent. Key Responsibilities Maintain and apply knowledge of test center policies, practices, and procedures. Greet examinees and verify candidate identification according to established procedures. Perform required security checks, including the use of security wands. Continuously monitor candidates throughout testing sessions to ensure compliance with testing requirements. Safeguard the testing center, examination materials, and equipment at all times. Identify, report, and/or resolve candidate issues with urgency, professionalism, and sound judgment. Ensure every candidate receives a fair, comfortable, and detail oriented testing experience. Report any occurrences or situations that fall outside established company guidelines. Help safeguard the test center from misconduct, policy violations, and security concerns. When applicable, digitally scan and record candidate fingerprint identification. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive candidate and examination information. Represent the organization's vision, mission, and values in all interactions. Remain flexible with scheduling based on testing volume and days of operation. Perform general administrative and operational tasks necessary to support the test center.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of in-person customer service experience required. Relevant backgrounds may include retail, restaurants, hospitality, reception, security, education, or other public-facing environments. Must be 18 years of age or older. Skills & Competencies Strong ability to communicate professionally and effectively with candidates and coworkers. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured policies and security procedures. Ability to write detailed and accurate reports and correspondence. Strong judgment and ability to respond appropriately to candidate concerns or unusual situations. Ability to multi-task and remain focused while monitoring testing activity. Comfortable working independently while maintaining consistent adnce to procedures. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Windows-based programs and applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsing. Ability to handle small tools and assist with equipment shipping, unpacking, and installation when required. detail oriented, dependable, and customer-service oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity and security of the testing environment.
