Mechanic

Roscommon County Road Commission is an Equal Opportunity Employer seeking a Full-Time Mechanic. We are looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual responsible for the maintenance and repair of trucks, heavy equipment, and related auxiliary equipment.

Qualifications include:

Must possess personal basic hand tools Experience in metal fabrication and welding Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with air brakes and N and T endorsements Valid DOT medical card Three years of heavy-duty truck repair experience preferred, but not required State Certification in Heavy-Duty Truck Repair is preferred, but not required The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
