Mechanical / Process Engineer for Critical Infrastructure & Data Center Project (On-site)

Important This position is part of an ongoing tender (bidding/licitation) process. Your mission As Mechanical / Process Engineer, you will support design review, field engineering, and ensure technical compliance across all phases of the project. Responsibilities Support project design review and provide field engineering support during construction phases. Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, budgets, schedules, and commissioning/start-up reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, project teams, and clients to ensure effective communication and coordination. Provide technical guidance to data center services and operations teams, ensuring alignment with regional standards and project requirements. Address engineering requests, resolve technical issues, and support project-specific adaptations in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Ensure quality assurance and control processes are followed, supporting vendors and overseeing testing and commissioning activities. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and adapt designs to local standards and project specifications. Support vendor management processes, including RFPs, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of Chilean technical standards and regulations (water systems, fire protection, hazardous substances, and safety design). Minimum 8+ years of experience in industrial or critical infrastructure projects (data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, etc.). Solid technical expertise in cooling systems, diesel generators, fire protection, and piping systems in large-scale construction projects. Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams within complex engineering environments. Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory). Experience in hyperscale or mission-critical projects (preferred). Ability to work on-site in a construction environment.
