Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are growing! We are looking to grow our team with our new expansion. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting administrative functions within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality healthcare delivery. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms Measure and record vital signs accurately Assist with patient examinations and procedures Support medication administration under supervision and assist with basic life support when necessary Operate EHR systems efficiently for documentation and appointment scheduling Assist with ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology documentation for billing and record-keeping Prepare patients for diagnostic tests such as X-ray or other imaging procedures Support patient service activities including answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring comfort Venipuncture for blood draw Injections Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with safety standards Prior Authorizations Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient setting Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration Familiarity with EHR systems and medical-surgical procedures Ability to perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with X-ray procedures, and supporting patient care activities Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic healthcare team committed to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care.
