Medical Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the medical facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, recording medical history, and preparing patients for examinations
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic medical procedures such as collecting specimens, dressing wounds, and removing sutures
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms
• Educate patients on proper medication usage and post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in patient care and customer service
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures
• Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and venipuncture
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
