Medical Assistant

Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join their outpatient clinic. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, completing medication reconciliation, updating electronic medical records, and managing patient flow. Key Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. Obtain and document vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, in the EMR. Complete medication reconciliation and review brief medical history with patients. Update electronic medical records (EMR) with visit information and patient history. Manage patient flow, supporting approximately 15 patients per day. Clean and reset exam rooms between patients following infection control standards. Communicate with patients regarding visit expectations and updates professionally. Coordinate with providers to ensure efficient clinic workflow and readiness for exams. Support standard outpatient clinical operations and maintain organized patient throughput. Qualifications BLS Required

EPIC EMR

Experience Valid certification from a nationally accredited Medical Assisting program Skills Proficiency in an electronic health record, preferably Epic. Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in administration of medications and immunizations. Effective time management and organizational skills. Additional Requirements Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Candidates may be required to float to other locations as needed.
