Medical Assistant in Mission Viejo ASAP! Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery practice is seeking a full-time pleasant and detail orientated individual for front/back office in Mission Viejo. We are willing to train the right individual.

Requirements:

Medical Assistant certificate Knowledge of medical insurance including HMOs, PPOs, Medicare and Med-ical Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office is a plus Surgery scheduling experience is a plus Possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be a highly detail-oriented Must be computer literate Must have superior customer service skills. Must have reliable transportation Competitive Pay Office duties may include, but are not limited to: Check In/Check Out patients, answering phones, registering patients, properly triage phone calls, accurate message taking, scheduling appointments, surgery scheduling, Preop testing scheduling, work closely with hospital nurses and preop department, prepare patient charts, process medical record requests, scanning, collecting over the counter patient payments, verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining insurance authorizations. Rooming patients, taking vitals. Position is available immediately.
