Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

Burlingame, California Employment Type:
Full-Time (or Part-Time, as applicable) About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician to join our growing psychiatric practice in Burlingame. This role is ideal for someone interested in mental health care and innovative, non-invasive treatments for depression and related conditions. No prior TMS experience is required — we provide comprehensive, hands-on training. This is a great opportunity to enter a clinical setting and build specialized skills in a rapidly growing area of psychiatric care. Key Responsibilities Administer TMS treatments under physician supervision in accordance with established protocols Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including positioning and equipment setup Monitor patients during sessions for comfort, safety, and clinical response Accurately document treatment parameters, patient responses, and session notes Maintain and calibrate TMS equipment as required Provide patient education about TMS therapy, expectations, and aftercare Communicate effectively with psychiatrists regarding patient progress or concerns Ensure compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA, and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment Qualifications No prior TMS experience required — training will be provided Prior experience in a healthcare, wellness, or customer-facing role is a plus Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, or related conditions High attention to detail and strong documentation skills Ability to follow clinical protocols precisely Comfort with medical equipment and technology Personal Attributes Empathetic and patient-centered approach Calm, professional demeanor Reliable and highly organized Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience) Benefits available for eligible employees Paid time off and holidays Paid training Why Join Us No prior TMS experience needed; gain specialized clinical skills through training Work in a modern, patient-focused psychiatric practice Be part of a team delivering cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments Meaningfully impact patients' lives and mental health outcomesJob Types:
