Job Overview:
Provides care in outpatient/ hospital settings, including but not limited to Pediatric Clinic, OB/GYN Clinic (as needed) and NICU High Risk Follow-Up Clinic (as needed).
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of all Orientation Programs Experience with computer/data entry and managing care systems
Preferred:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
BLS Certification approved by the
American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements:
Per Diem Day shift
Essential Functions:
Prepares necessary forms and charts, filing and retrieving, restock exam rooms Assists with maintenance of supplies, linen, ordering, and identifies, and the physical environment Provides and assists with outpatient care, including data entry, record keeping, and compliance with insurance requirements Organize and administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care Other duties as assigned Other Things to
