Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused LPN or Medical Assistant to join our busy cardiology practice. This role supports physicians and advanced providers in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Duties Room patients, obtain vitals, and document accurate medical histories Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac testing (Holter monitors, event monitors, stress tests if applicable) Triage patient calls, address clinical questions, and escalate appropriately Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refills Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR Support providers with procedures and patient education Ensure exam rooms are stocked and compliant with clinical standards Qualifications LPN license (active and in good standing) OR Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Previous cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills Experience with EKGs required (or willingness to learn quickly) EMR experience (e.g., Prognocis, Athena, Epic) preferred Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Team player who steps in where needed Ability to manage high patient volume without sacrificing quality Strong attention to detail and follow-through Professional, dependable, and compassionate Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier cardiovascular care in a supportive environment that values your expertise.
