Medical Assistant/Nurse

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations in an outpatient urology clinic. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services within a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires some travel to our outreach clinics when necessary. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs using EHR systems Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in an outpatient setting Support physicians during medical procedures such as medication administration, minor medical procedure Perform clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses Document patient information accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding standards Support hospital experience functions including surgery scheduling Assist with patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and updating electronic health records (EHR) Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient or hospital environments; clinic experience preferred Knowledge of urology practices is hirely desired, but will train the right candidate Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is required Basic life support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure settings Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient health outcomes while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Pay:

$28.00 - $42.00 per hour
