Rensselaer, NY Job Details Contract $20 - $22 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Medical coding Clerical experience Full Job Description Job description: Perform clerical duties utilizing specific knowledge of medical terminology and procedures: Act as the liaison between the provider/biller, facility medical office, Bureau of Health Services, and Accounts Payable. Review and process patient charges by reviewing invoices/bills containing Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. Experience with NYS Medicaid coding and billing. Experience in healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, and customer service. Strong working knowledge of medical coding and billing processes. Working closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with coding standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain organized and detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and SFS software.
