Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic laboratory environment, where precision and expertise play a crucial role in patient care. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician for a contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for laboratory science, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate results.
Responsibilities include:
Performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with regulatory standards Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, following established procedures for quality control Evaluating specimen integrity and preparing samples for analysis Documenting and communicating test results effectively with medical staff Ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols Participating in ongoing professional development and training sessions Contributing to a team-based environment to support optimal patient outcomes Qualifications and desired experience: Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting strongly preferred Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively Knowledge of regulations from organizations such as CLIA, CAP, and OSHA This contract role offers a chance to enhance your laboratory career in a supportive, professionally rewarding environment.
