Job Description
Aspire to serve a medically diverse patient population and lead a collaborative team at Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital as a full-time Medical Oncologist. Here, you will work in an outpatient clinic with adjacent clinical infusion housed in a 35-bed, acute care hospital. You will have the opportunity for growth in your role, as well as the ability to build your own patient panel. Monday to Friday schedule Outpatient care only Guaranteed salary and generous incentive Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available 2 to 5 years of experience required Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery available Board certification in Oncology or Hematology & Oncology required Compensation is between $650,000 and $700,000 per year Where You'll Work On Hawai'i's Big Island, Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queen's Health Systems, Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics on site at Lucy Henriques Medical Center and two off-campus clinics: Specialty Clinic and Primary Care. These clinics that are located independently of each other and all within a three mile radius of the hospital, offer services such as Women's Health, Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Primary Care, Neurology, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, and Native Hawaiian Health. Two of these clinics (Primary Care & our Women's Center), fall under the Rural Health Clinic designation. Our Level III Trauma Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons and is a designated Baby-Friendly birth facility. Where You'll Live Kamuela is unlike any other part of Hawai'i. Located on the Big Island, the historic area is known as Hawai'i's cowboy country. Nestled on an idyllic picturesque landscape covered in rolling green pastures, Kamuela is home to cattle ranches, including one of the oldest in the United States. In contrast, Kamuela offers a thriving cultural and entertainment scene with boutique shops, theaters and world-class dining, making it a great place to live, work, and play.
