Contract-to-Hire (6 months) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Practice Representative to support a busy pediatric and adult physician practice. This role is ideal for a healthcare administrative professional who excels in patient interaction, communication with providers, and accuracy in medical systems. The right candidate is dependable, polished, and genuinely interested in building a long-term career within a clinical practice environment. Key Responsibilities- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Greet patients and provide a positive, welcoming front-office experience
- Perform insurance verification and collect required patient information
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians and clinical staff daily
- Ensure patient charts, scheduling, and demographic information are complete and error-free
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and consistent attendance standards Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role (front desk, medical secretary, scheduler, practice coordinator, or similar)
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working within an EMR system (Epic experience is a strong plus)
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced physician practice
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and highly professional in interactions with patients and staff Nice to Have
- Epic EMR experience
- Medical Assistant background with interest in non-clinical/front-office work
- Experience working in pediatric or multi-specialty practices Why This Role

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
