Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Receptionist to join our staffing team and provide exceptional front-desk support at various client healthcare facilities. In this role, you will represent our agency while working on-site with our clients, serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in medical office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify patient information, insurance details, and collect co-pays Answer and route phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle messages Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and compliant with privacy standards (HIPAA) Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry Adapt quickly to different client office procedures and systems
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar) Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration training preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in multiple healthcare settings (e.g., clinics, hospitals, specialty practices) Flexibility to travel to different client locations as needed Bilingual skills are a plus
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
